Aside from loving YA/Romance reads, I'm also a big suspense/mystery fan. I always like it when books make me think and when they play with my mind. ASK ME is one of those books that truly made me think and so it was really hard to put down.
What if you have the gift of knowing whatever it is that you need to know? That's awesome, right? Well, Aria has that gift but the thing is that she doesn't really understand the answers that she gives to everyone. And that's why some people to choose to play on her naivete, instead of her playing on theirs.
Jade's death makes Aria's world bigger. When before, she can just hide from everyone and try to not make everyone know that she is around, she can no longer hide from people and hide her gift from them. And then of course, love comes into play.
I have to admit that I wished what happened wasn't real but omg the author really did great with this because of the great characterization, so you'd really feel for the characters--even for the err, evil ones. Aria's story is complicated but the author was able to orchestrate it well and that's why this was such a delight to read. It's also great to decipher Aria's puzzling answers because you know, sometimes, the truth is already looking right at you and yet, you have no idea that it is. With this book, you'd get to understand that even more...and you'll probably be careful of the people around you more, too.
